Wow! That blue head guy is fantastical! And that puff adder is actually puffy. I had not idea. Does it go around puffy, or do you think it puffed up in response to dying?
They are all puffy like that in normal day-to-day life. I googled a bunch of pictures right after we moved here so I could recognize some of the snakes to avoid.

I think it goes around puffy.
But I'm not sure. I've only seen the dead one.
